Hey Vet Med Furrriends! 🩺
Let’s take a moment to mentally revisit our high school chemistry classes… 🤓 During these classes, you put on your safety gear, scientist hats, and maybe some cute cat ears too 😹 and ran your experiments to gather information! Well, in this instance – Dr. Beth Frates from the PAVING the Path to Wellness program has invited us to be investigators of our own health! You’re the scientist and the subject of the most important study of all: your well-being! 👩🏻🔬
Here’s how to start your personal wellness investigation:
- Start with Two Deep Breaths 🌬️ Yep, that’s it! These calming breaths set the tone for curiosity and focus…
- Ask the Right Questions 🤔 What happens when you add 5 servings of veggies a day? Or drink more water? Or take 3 deep breaths before each client visit?? Hypothesize what you expect…then test it out!
- Track Tiny Changes 📝 Notice shifts in energy, mood, or cravings. Your body gives clues…all you have to do is listen! And find a way to measure your observations so you can reflect on the experiment and make changes moving forward!
Remember: you are the N = 1 in this experiment called life! 😸 Share something you investigated with your well-being this week in the comments below! ⬇️
